Polyphonic Choir

The St. Charles Choir is a group of men and women who lend their voices to the glorification of God in the sacred liturgies. While Gregorian chant remains the music proper to the liturgy and deserves pride of place, sacred polyphony takes an honorable second place in the treasury of sacred music. At this point, the choir is relatively new, though it has already put some good hymnody under its belt. It is the intention of the choir to continue to develop its skills and repertory, which includes some classic, Latin motets, and even some polyphonic Masses.
